Background Info: I graduated in 2012 with a French Degree in Education. I decided that I wanted to continue my work experience with children in a french environment and decided to become a nanny with AuPair Paris. I moved to Paris in August to take care of an 11 year old girl. I'm 25 years old, have had experience teaching children inside a classroom, taking care of a child in a bilingual home (English and French). It will take me some time to become teacher certified, so until then I want to continue working with children. I'm also certified in CPR, AED and First Aid (being that I was a lifeguard for a number of years). Currently: I am back in NY and am looking for a stable babysitting job. I have my own means of transportation (car) and I have had years of experience working with children (infants, toddlers, Read more children, teenagers) and am always happy to lend a hand to any family. I believe in making the job easier for the parents making them feel and know that they have a reliable adult taking good care of their children. I love arts and crafts, singing, swimming, being open to a child's imagination, making sure they learn valuable lessons, reading is important, I try my best to keep children away from the computer and television and learn to be creative and happy without it. I am always willing to help with homework, bathing, feeding, small meal preps, occasional pick-ups and drop-offs, changing diapers, helping with potty training, tutoring and swimming lessons (if wanted). I love children and making them happy by creating a comfortable relationship with them. I do my very best with each family I work for because finding a GREAT babysitter these days, I've heard, is a little difficult.
