Living with a single parent and being the oldest, I've taken care of my little brother and sister since I was 14. They have made me the responsible adult that I am today. Teaching and playing with little kids is a nice experience and also a great resposibility that I am willing to take. As my first job in high school I worked as a tutor at OWNCS Read Alliance, Astoria, NY. There isn't a better feeling than watching children learn something new everyday and building a special bond that feels like you're an older brother/sister to them who's there to help them and enrich them with knowledge. Not only do I like to make sure kids are having fun but I also enjoy teaching them a language such as spanish. I feel like its a skill that would help them in the future.
