I have approximately one year of experience working with children in a Head Start program. The majority of my experience is with children under three years old, but I do have experience working with three to five year old children also. I have also been involved in nursery at my church working with young children and involved in the children's/junior church programs as well which was more of the classroom setting. I also have a niece and nephew I have helped care for for years. And lastly, while in middle school I assisted in the care of two of my cousins, one of which was diagnosed with down syndrome and autism. I have a obtained a bachelor's degree, although, not in childcare. I did complete a 9-month course in early childhood education. While working in the Head Start program I received training such as: CPR, first aid, communicable disease, trauma, Read more etc. I have always loved children and have also been very good at taking care of them.
