Hello, My name is Maria Martelo. I worked as an au pair from 2008 to 2011. while i was an au pair i worked with 2 host families. With the first one i took care of two children. Maggie and Chris (7 and 9). I was in charge of taking them to school in the mornings, preparing meals, laundry, taking them to baseball practice, etc. Then i moved from state and i worked with my second host family. this one was a different experience. I took care of 2 teenager foster kids. I was more like a big sister, tutor, and i took care of them while the foster mom was in school. i cooked for them, drove them to therapies, helped them with homeworks, etc.
