First off I want to start by saying I know I'm not the parent and that you are in control 100%. I will never go against what you say and will stick by your side, what you say goes. After all, you know your child/children better than anyone. I'm very picky about how I clean; most say I have OCD. I will not just clean the top surface. I never like to sit still! I love to cook as well. I enjoy being outdoors and just having fun with everything I do. You can always learn but it's better to have safe fun while doing it and the more that join in the merrier. Arts and crafts are one of my favorite things too. I love getting on their level at times so they are able to be kids and just enjoy life to the fullest. Children should not just Read more sit in front of the television, computer, video games and etc. about an hour or two a day is plenty. If that's something that bothers you, don't worry because with me they will not want to sit in front of those things. I just love children and I have been around them since I was five, when my first nephew was born. Now I have 16 nieces and nephews all together. My parents are foster care/adopting parents too, for 10 years now. I have a little brother that was adopted, he was three months when he came into our family and is now 10 years old. He has Fetal Alcohol syndrome along with some other problems like speech, walking, and is mentally delayed so I do also have experience with special needs. I have cared for a family for four years as well. The oldest being 11 years old (boy) and the youngest being a newborn (boy) with an 8-year-old girl, in the middle. They are listed as my reference. I know how to handle things when they are sick, even though we all know nothing works better than our mommies and daddies. I have experience with seizures and aspirating. I'm First Aid and CPR certified and I keep those certifications updated. I love working with children and just really want to stay with it. We hope to one day have some of our own. We are not married but have been with each other for almost 8 years now. We are still young and have time so we are not in to much of a hurry.
