I have been a Nurse for 8 years and recently due to budget cuts have been laid off with no intent of returning due to position was gotten rid of. I have a love for children and by God's grace have not been given motherhood of our own except with four legged babies and a small farm of chicken's, guinea's,and such. I was recently taking care of a child with disability needs and she has since passed. I am CPR certified First Aide Certified and certified in PALS which is a first aide class designed around infants toddlers and children under 12 years. I love playing educational game's with the young children teach spend quality time with them as they grow. Older children I have tons of crafts, and most of all enjoy doing homework with them! Love the teaching aspect of our growing youth!! I have cared for person's Read more children in there homes from ages of before being born, getting the baby room ready for there arrival,spending time with mom prior to baby arrival to see how she anticipates things to be completed and what she would like on a nanny for her newborn along with her two year old. We had a craft day library day when the infant was older and during nap times I would clean prepare lunches if it was craft day would prepare and set up for craft,games,outside games,etc depending on day of week and weather. Cared for that family for two years. Then cared for a child with disabilities in a wheel chair and we did physical therapy exercises watched educational cartoon's read books to her u til she later passed. I believe in parent values and what you expect from me is what I will give you in return plus some. Children are a guide to our future! They need care,Dedication,discipline as seen appropriate to parent's, educated,and taught values to help them in today's society of bullying,internet exposures and many more thing's they may run across.
