Hello! My name is Catherine Hutz and I currently work as a Kindergarten teacher because I absolutely love working with children! In high school, I was a part of multiple clubs associated with helping students who were typical and atypical. I then attended Kent State University and studied Early Childhood Education. Additionally, I have been employed at multiple summer camps such as CVAC Sports Camp (2013) and PEAK Summer Camp (2014-2016) on Kent State University's campus. I was in charge of 72 campers daily (ages 5-16) where I helped plan, implement and lead several arts and crafts and sport-like activities. My non-professional experiences include babysitting and tutoring. I babysat for one year and have been tutoring from 2015-2017 children of various ages ranging from third grade to ninth grade. I absolutely love being outdoors and engaging my creative side as well by looking up new crafts to work on or Read more creating games to play outside. Having worked at a summer camp for many years, I have tons of games and crafts to share with little ones that are easy and fun! My educational career and previous summer jobs have provided many opportunities for training for me. I am certified in CPR/First Aid/AED, Child Safety, Concussion in Sports, A.L.I.C.E. (intruder protection), and additional child safety courses. I have up to date background checks (FBI and BCI) completed and am more than ready to nanny for a great family out there!
