I grew up babysitting my 3 younger brothers, neighbor's daughters and friend's cousins. As an adult, I worked for 1 year in a daycare in a gym where I took care of all children, from infants to 13 year olds. I also had a position babysitting a child from 3 months old, onwards. In addition to this, I taught learn to swim for 5 years, I taught kids learn to skate for 1 year, taught a strength and conditioning camp for kids, and taught Jr. lifesaving to kids. I also lead an after school program at an inner city elementary school. Despite all of this, the best thing over ever done was be a camp counselor at an overnight camp. I led and mentored groups of campers from age 9-13. The experience changed my life and taught me so much about the importance of just being able to be a Read more child and enjoy the little things in life.
