My first job as a nanny was a live-in position in The Netherlands. It was a wonderful experience where I not only learned to care for children but also had the opportunity to live abroad! My responsibilities included light housework, laundry, errands and grocery shopping, as well as childcare and cooking dinner for the family several times per week. I would expect to perform the same duties in any nanny position I accept. I believe that my job as a caregiver is to make the parent's life easier!
