I recently graduated from The Ohio State University with a Masters of Public Health focusing on children health and nutrition. I currently work full time at the YMCA as a Program Coordinator providing nutrition to children. As the eldest of three girls I have always been very nurturing. I have always taken care of my younger sisters and other family members. I spent 1 1/2 years as a nutrition and physical activity educator with the Children's Hunger Alliance. I also spent a year as a Head Start teacher in several KinderCares in Columbus. I also spent a summer nannying for a family in Phoenix, Arizona. As a graduate student I focused on health issues, primarily nutrition related issues, in children and youth. I love to cook, do reading activities with kids, arts and crafts, and play fun games to keep kids active. I also speak both Spanish and Italian and Read more can help your child learn new languages if interested. I love helping children grow to be healthy, happy and smart. My number one priority would be to keep your child safe and happy. I would be the perfect sitter for occasional evening and weekend days.
