Hello! I am a student at The Ohio State University where I will graduate this coming May with a bachelors degree in early and middle childhood studies. In addition to my course work, I am also the lead preschool teacher at Balanced Family Academy in Columbus, Ohio. While I am incredibly passionate about my job in Columbus, I have plans to move back to the Sylvania, Ohio area this coming May and I am seeking a full time nanny position through the summer. A bit about me... Through my educational career and my experiences as a teacher, I have become incredibly familiar with the physical, emotional, and cognitive developmental processes of children. I also have adequate experience in designing age appropriate (and very creative!) curriculum for children of all ages. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, music, painting, spending time out doors, and of course, babysitting!! While I Read more am perfectly comfortable with infants, I am (ideally) seeking a family with children at least three years of age who are looking for a summer of games, cooking, arts and crafts, and LOTS of adventure! I can also incorporate summer tutoring/learning time if you wish. If necessary, I am willing to provide transportation to summer camps, etc and will provide my own vehicle. I can provide references from my employer as well as past families I have worked with upon request.
