Hi! My name is Hadley and I am a 20-year-old student at Ohio State. I'm looking for a nanny job for this summer. I have always been very passionate about working with children and love spending time with them. I've been babysitting since I was in the 6th grade, when I went through the Red Cross babysitting program, and have never stopped. I have also completed CPR training multiple times. I babysat for family members and other families around my community of Upper Arlington. I worked in a church nursery during high school, where I was caring for infants and young children (up to age 4). I also volunteered to be a mentor during my senior year of high school. I spent time each week at an elementary school, mentoring a 7-year-old boy. Also during my senior year of high school, I went on a service trip to an orphanage Read more in Honduras. We spent a week doing work projects and spending time with the children who called the orphanage home. I observed in a preschool and an elementary classroom during my second semester of college, and gained much knowledge from the teachers I worked with. Last summer I was a nanny for a family with a 9-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl, and loved every minute of it. I began college with a major in early childhood education, but decided to change to psychology in order to go into guidance counseling. I truly care about children and that's why I've chosen a career where I can continue to work with kids for the rest of my life.
