While obtaining my degree from The Ohio State University in Early Childhood Education and Care, I worked both as a personal babysitter and as a teacher's aide in a toddler classroom at a university child care program. Upon graduation, I took a full-time assistant teacher position at the same facility in an infant classroom. While I loved my time there, I missed having the close personal connection with just a few children at a time, so I have been working as a full-time personal nanny for about 3 years. The majority of my experience is with infants and toddlers, but I also have a few very special school aged children that I have cared for as well. I enjoy the outdoors including sports, hiking, fishing, taking walks, going to the dog park and just taking in everything about a nice day. I love going to the zoo, exploring at COSI, Read more and spending rainy days at the library. I also enjoy baking and crafting in my spare time. I am very dependable and cognizant that it puts parents in a very tight spot when their child care falls through for some reason. My number one goal in child care is to have a mutually respectful parent/provider relationship where we can work together in the absolute best interest of the child(ren). I am more than willing to help with errands such as grocery shopping, organizing, party planning, pet care, laundry and cleaning.
