Hello! My name is Emma. I'm 29 years old and have been babysitting for more than half my life. I have just moved to New York from Ohio but was born and raised in San Francisco, California. I have a M.A. in School Counseling from Ohio State University and spent the last three years as a licensed school counselor in an elementary school. In the past, I have babysat children whose ages range from six months to 13 years. I am very experienced with changing diapers, bathing, and putting kids to bed, as well as taking children on outings either by car or public transportation. I am also willing to cook and do light housekeeping if needed. I was employed by a hotel sitter service in San Francisco, so I am experienced with hotel sitting as well! While in college, I tutored high school students for the SAT, ran a Read more volunteer program at an emergency food pantry, and was a Big Sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters. I love to be outdoors, travel, and eat!

Emma was great with our 19-month old daughter, who took to Emma quickly! We had to keep our daughter at home from daycare, and yet we couldn't stay with her because we had to work. Emma was great playing with our daughter, taking her outside, feeding her lunch (and making her food), putting her down for a nap, then snack and more play time. We really felt comfortable with Emma and are already thinking about the next time we can hire her to watch our daughter. It's obvious how comfortable Emma is with kids.
