I enjoy working with young people of all ages and have experience working with teens, ages 12 -17, in a twenty four hour crisis shelter environment as well as the role of Licensed Professional School Counselor, serving grades K-12, in a private school in Powell for the past three years. Before my three years as a Crisis Intervention Specialist I worked as a classroom teacher for a drop-in day care in Lewis Center with children ranging in age from 4 to12 while spending time in the infant and toddler care room occasionally. I am looking for summer employment in a role that allows me to continue to work with young people as a fun and developmentally encouraging advocate while ensuring safety and wellness for the child/ren or teen/s.
