I work as a behavior aide in a K/1 elementary school, I have summers off and would like to find a regular childcare position to keep me busy and active. Before the school, I have worked as a nanny for ten years. My most recent experience is From infant to four years I cared for a child with cerebral palsy. I also helped with his older siblings as well. I assisted with homework, after school transportation to extracurricular activities, and prepared meals. I took the youngest to his doctor and therapy appointments. I was involved in all IEP planning and development and met with his teachers regularly. I did at home therapy in speech, occupational, physical, restraint, vision, and aquatic therapies after following the plan and techniques given to me by his therapy team. I helped him learn to utilize a gait trainer and assistive speaking device.
