My name is Leah. I am a mom of 1. I work evenings at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. My son just turned 1 year old, his name is Austin. He is the happiest and most friendly baby out there. He waddles around the house, loves Mickey Mouse and has lots of books he likes to go through. I have been a nanny since high school. I worked with 2 families long term, with other short term families in between. I still keep in contact with the long term families, and they have become very good friends of mine. I am available to watch children in my home. It is a ranch style that has been baby proofed to the max (my son likes to open doors and get into everything). We have stairs, but they are blocked off with a gate at all times. We also have a very Read more friendly yellow lab, who usually does his own thing and naps a lot. I have tons of toys, books, music, bouncers, swings, strollers, high chair, etc. I work at the hospitals Monday through Thursday starting at 5 PM. I am available any day of the week except for Sundays (unless asked ahead of time). My husband's grandmother lives with us, but she is a sweet woman who usually goes about her own business. We have a zoo membership, a park right up the street, and a very large front and back yard with LOTS of outdoor toys (bikes, chalk, bubbles, toy cars, balls, swings). I feed my son relatively healthy food, and we try to eat as much organic stuff as possible, and I do my best to avoid the sugar when the hubby isn't around to spoil him. I am also in the process of going through nursing school. I attending school for 2.5 years taking early childhood classes, but changed my mind about the education program. I am CPR and First Aid certified. My husband is in the Ohio Army National Guard as well as a firefighter. If you feel that you child(ren) would have fun here feel free to contact me! I can do most any hours during the day. My son would love someone to play with! Also the hourly rate listed is very negotiable. I can also do a daily or weekly fee, and I am very reasonable!
