Taking care of children has always been my passion. I began babysitting at thirteen and I knew it was what I was meant to do. I've worked in classroom based situations, many years as a camp counselor, as a birthday party coordinator and now, I am a mother of two (ages 2 and 8). I recently made the decision to go back to school, after more than a decade in the corporate world, and am currently attending Western Governors University for Early Childhood Education. (This is an online accelerated program for adults to complete their degree in a much more flexible learning situation.) Childcare is something I take very seriously. To me, it's not just about providing a safe environment. It's about encouraging every child to reach their potential and beyond.
