Hi! I'm Kelsie- I'm fun and outgoing, very responsible and very reliable! I'm only 23 years old, but I feel older than my years :) I lived in Lima, OH, where I completed 4 years of high school, where I first started to babysit at the age of 12. I then worked in a church nursery until I began high school. Then I became a nanny for the family who lived across the street. I absolutely loved it! The couple were both doctors, so when they were on-call, it was like I was on-call as well :) The two little girls were great, and I can't say how much it meant to me to be with them everyday, to watch them grow, and to help them along through life. I then majored in Family Studies at Miami University for 4 years, getting my Bachelors. My goal in picking that major Read more was to learn as much as I can about children and how to take care of them the best you can. Currently, I'm working at Mini University where I'm an Assistant Teacher to preschool age children. I've worked there over a year, moving where they have needed me the most, in the toddler age children or in the preschool age children. While there, I've taken multiple trainings (about 30 hours worth) about taking care of children, basic health courses, and trainings on how to manage all types of children and what they need to thrive in life. I've also learned more of what children need in their day-to-day lives and how to encourage them to support themselves. I LOVE working with children. I believe it is what I'm meant to do with my life. Helping them along, seeing them everyday, is the absolute greatest thing to me! Every child I'm around I do my absolute BEST to keep safe and well-cared for. Safety is a must to me; keeping a child in your care safe is the most important thing.
