I am a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, applying to medical school to eventually specialize in Pediatrics! I have been a babysitter and a nanny for 10 years working in Chicago, DC, and Philadelphia. I have worked with all ages, from infants to teenagers, as well as special needs (autism, ADD/ADHD, and other developmental and behavioral issues). While babysitting I have experience with meals, bath time, nap time, and most importantly--bed time! I have my own car and have toted little ones in the back seat so I am comfortable with transportation if necessary. I have experience with pets in the home and am comfortable with that as well. I also am willing and have experience doing laundry, grocery shopping, and other daily tasks if need be. My work with children outside of nannying has ranged from the Emergency Department at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to a program from adjudicated youth in Washington, DC to after school programs on the South side of Chicago.
