I volunteered as a teaching assistant/caregiver at my old church watching children ages 1-12 twice a week for 3 years. I helped raise several young cousins and a nephew and was also a nanny for an 18-month-old for one year when I was 16. I also have a 6-month-old son of my own. I started college for a year, but am currently taking a break after having my son last July. If everything goes as planned, I will resume classes online in the next year and will have my degree in Early Childhood Education in just a few years.
