I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by kids most of my life. Not only do I have two much younger brothers and two step kids now, but growing up my mom ran an in-home day care for several years. I was there to help her plan awesome pre-school lessons for the little ones, and stimulating, educational activities for older children. We knew that other people's children were under our supervision and we made our parents/child needs and preferences our first priority. I also have professional experience in a childcare setting as I was a center assistant at an early learning center where I assisted in caring for infants and toddler ages 6 weeks through 3 years old.
