Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Rogers, and I am a recent graduate of the Ohio State University. I have always had a passion for people, especially children; my degree was in Human Development and Family Science with a focus on Middle Childhood Education. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old and have had the pleasure of caring for children as young as newborns to as old as teenagers. I held a summer nannying position in f 2012 for a family with two children, ages 10 and 13. I held a similar position with another family in the summer of 2009 with children ages 7 and 14. There is little that brings me as much joy as the ability to witness and aid the growth and development of a young person. I am experienced in a wide range of activities, especially those relating to education (specializations in reading/writing Read more and science) and art, and I am CPR certified. I have experience tutoring children in reading, and I know the importance of this skill in their development and success as a student. I also love to utilize the outdoors when the weather permits. I am looking for a nannying opportunity that would provide me close to full-time hours and the chance to bond with and educate children. I am comfortable helping with housekeeping and caring for pets. I would love the chance to work with a family for a longer period of time with a one or two year commitment, but I am open to all available positions.
