I began as a nanny during high school, when I was on summer breaks, for a family friend who has four children. I worked with that family for a couple of years until I went off to college. I was responsible for driving the children to their summer camps (basketball, football), making breakfast and lunch for all the children, as well as house duties (dishes, feeding the dog, tidying up any messes, etc.), I would also help the children complete their summer assignments. During college I interned at the Cleveland Clinic, at the Summer Treatment Program, which is a summer program for children who have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. I would occasionally babysit on holiday breaks from school for families that I knew in my hometown. I received my degree in 2017. I graduated with a BA in Psychology and Sociology. I currently work in the behavioral health field at Read more St. Vincent Prep Academy, as an Adaptive Behavioral Specialist, working with children who have severe mental health issues. I work on behavior modification and run group therapy three times a week. I have a passion for working with children. I am hard-working and dedicated, as well as CPR and First-Aid certified. I am easy to get along with, I am organized, and always looking for ways to improve and expand my skill set!
