I have worked odd jobs as a sitter since I began driving at 16, and that recently culminated into my becoming a summer nanny. I ended up loving caring for those kids which resulted in my actively searching for childcare jobs. I have two nephews of my own who have sparked an interest to care for young children as well. I myself am an avid reader, so I love encouraging reading with the kids I watch as well as getting outside and being active on nice days. If a thunderstorm hits, however, arts and crafts are a go-to as well as board games.
