My name is Shilo Niehorster and I am a 23 year old resident of Youngstown, OH (born in San Diego, CA) looking to relocate to Columbus, OH. I have no formal training as a nanny, however I consider myself to be an aware, patient, flexible, responsible, caring, intelligent and compassionate individual that has the ability to perform as an excellent nanny. I have a Bachelor's degree in English from Youngstown State University and I am willing to learn and adjust in order to provide exceptional care to anyone entrusted to me. I am an animal person without any allergies and tons of experience multitasking with children and (some) animals, and I have experience tutoring/teaching children. My studies in college concentrated on creative writing and I enjoy reading, writing, the outdoors, making art, and cooking. Throughout my years as a part of my church's youth ministry program, I'd served as a Read more caregiver for both the elderly as well as children during programs and work events on mission trips and I also served as a youth leader in my later years as a member of the church. I'd been a member of SIBS and STARS during my time at Austintown Fitch High School in which I was granted the responsibility of again guiding, teaching, and watching over children in kindergarten as well as those in grades 6-8. The most recent child I've assisted in caring for has been my three, almost four year old nephew, Aedric James. My sister is a single mother and through her struggle I have examined and gained a lot of wisdom in both independence as well as asking for the proper help in a safe and smart manner.
