My name is Amanda. My husband and I recently moved, about a year ago, to Lawton for his job in the military. We live off of 67th street. I was going on my 5th year of teaching Art Education when we received orders. I have a lot of experience working with children, as all of my jobs since I was 15 years old have involved work with children. Before I was an art teacher, I worked at a Special Education School and Residential Program, which helped me grow tremendously as a person and caregiver. I have also spent 2 weeks volunteering for 4 summers at a camp called Victory Junction, which is for children with medical and special needs. I also volunteered in my church's nursery before moving. I have a 5-month-old daughter who would love to have a playmate to enjoy all the fun things we do such as Read more massage, nursery rhymes, story time, arts and crafts, and walks. I am recently working part-time but would love to stay at home full time with my daughter and care for one additional child in our home. I am 27 years old and all who have worked with me would describe me as dedicated, reliable, patient, and creative. I love spending time with children being engaged. I do not smoke, I have my own car, and I love pets. we have cats and a turtle. I have been through the pediatric CPR and First Aid Class twice and I am confident in my ability to care for your child.
