I have been babysitting/a nanny since I was 13 years old, as well as taking care of pets. I first started with my first cousin when he was born. I helped change his diaper, get him ready to be fed, assisted with baths, and play and interact with him. As his brother and sister were born, I also babysat them as well (which is something I still do). I prepare meals, clean the house, do the laundry, play and interact with them in both indoor and outdoor settings, take them to and from their various activities, as well as help with baths, change diapers, and get everyone ready and settled for bed. In high school, I babysat/was a nanny for a family of 5 kids, ages ranging from 9 years old to 9 months old; the 9 month old also was autistic so I do have some experience with kids/infants Read more on the autistic spectrum. Responsibilities included preparing meals, cleaning the house, interacting with the kids in both indoor and outdoor settings, helping with homework, helping with the pets, doing laundry, giving baths, and getting them ready and settled into bed. I also have been a nanny for my nephew, who is now a year and a half old. Those responsibilities include baths, preparing bottles, which turned to meals as he's gotten older, changing diapers, playing and interacting with him, driving him to and from daycare, cleaning, giving him baths and getting him ready and settled into bed. As a principle, I DO NOT discipline children unless given express permission, followed by instructions from the parents. I am not currently CPR certified, but am willing to take the course to get my certification renewed.
