Education is the best foundation to build a successful future. It has also been a focal point in my life. My educational experience at USAO, UCO, Rose State, and Oklahoma State University has made an enormous impact on my employment and my wellbeing in general. The required courses for my degree are designed to help me understand the behavior of people and the best methods for guiding them. I undeniably have a passion to help others and I know without a doubt I can make a positive impact on a child’s life in an educational environment. I believe obtaining a solid education is a top priority throughout the journey of one’s existence. I have essentially 15 years of experience working with children, nearly 9 years as a parent and 2 years as a youth softball coach. I have also taken a semester of Non-Verbal Communication as well as Elementary Spanish, simply due to the fact that I know how important various forms of communication are and truly believe this training will assist me during my career and entire lifespan. During my work history, I have been known as a quick learner, hard worker and a motivator. I am able to work independently or as an efficient member of a team and have been blessed to receive several spots, on honor rolls as a direct result of my determination and dedication. Family is one of if not the most important aspects in life and this cover letter would be unquestionable incomplete if I were not to mention my life on an intimate familiar level. I am married to my Prue High School sweetheart Dustin Sills who has an Associate’s Degree in Social Sciences, a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, is an Oklahoma Certified Water Works and Waste Water Works Operator, as well as an Oklahoma Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager. We have been together for 16 years and are now blessed to have three amazing children, Leighton 8yrs, Grayson 4yrs, and Rawlin 2yr.
