In my early twenties I ran my own in home daycare. After three years and the best "job" I had ever had ( besides being full time mom to my boys) I decided to focus all time on my children's needs and was able to quit work. I became a fully involved PTA mom of six years and helped run our family owned plumbing business. Ive currently finished all training and classes required to be hired as a respite care provider for my sister who is a agency companion at Renaissance Management group Inc. specializing in residential support to developmentally disabled children and adults. This in turn has spurred me back to my love of the caregiving career. Even more recent than that, Ive been working for a wonderful family as a "mommy helper".
