My name is Mickala and I am pursuing a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. I currently work part-time at Parkside as a Mental Helath Technician, working with both kids and adolescence. I also have experience in working in daycare and shadowing teachers in the classroom. Basically, I'm always finding opportunities to work with kids because I love being around them! I would say I'm very patient and caring, as well as stern when I have to be. I can sometimes be on the softer side until I get to know the child as I would never want to jump to conclusions or create an untrusting relationship with them.
