I am a 21 year old from portland/ beaverton in oregon. I have been a nanny for the past 6 , months in western austrailia. I had never been a nanny before but i had always loved childern. Unforchantley my visa only allows me to work at the same job for six months so im traveling for a month then coming home the first of march. Being a nanny was one of the most rewarding jobs... from the moment a child calls you their best friend or together you help them accomplish fully singing the alphabet. I couldnt imagine not working with kids. I didnt just take after my host families kids (4girls) but also my host moms friends kids. Things i would do with my young ones 2-5 are arts and crafts, baking, going to the park, wildlifepark, water park. Then when i picked up the olders from school Read more we'd come home id help with homework then id make sure they did they daily chores as i cook dinner for them. But somedays after school we'd go to the beach or have a pinic for dinner. And if i had all the kids on the weekend we'd go to musems, markets, fairs, movies, pool, beach. I am very adjustable and adaptable. Nannying was new to me but Its the best job ive ever had.
