Hi, My name is Lashae Lewis and I just moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in dance. I recently moved from Portland, Oregon where I had a job as a babysitter part time. Unfortunately, working as a professional dancer can be an inconsistent way of income so I am hoping to find something part time in balance to dancing. I am a big sister to 2 brothers, (the youngest being 7) and due to my mom being a single mother and working full time, I have much experience in watching & tending to young ones! Not only have I been a caregiver for my mother, I also taught dance classes to little ones at studios around the portland area, along with subbing movement classes at my neighborhoods local Recreation Center, for young movers! I've gone from babysitting 1 year olds to as old as 13 year olds and Read more I love every second of it! Being a caregiver gives me the joy of getting to spend time with little ones and helping expand their creativity along with building a trusting relationship in which they can look forward to having a babysitter while their parent or guardian are away. I am dependable, reliable and for the most part, flexible. When not babysitting, I am always dancing whether that means booking commercial work or in the studio training. I have taken a caregivers class and am qualified in CPR through the Red Cross. Being a caretaker has been one of my favorite jobs and I look forward to being able to start back up again!
