Hello, my name is Clint. All my life children have felt at ease with me. When I was twelve my youngest sister was born. I loved reading together, going for walks and becoming an instant babysitter when my parents were busy. My favorite memories are of drawing together and when I would rock her to sleep with her head resting on my shoulder. Pleasant thoughts. Fast forward to 2010. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art from the Art Institute of Portland. Working as a team is awesome and I love creating art but I found myself caring more for the people than the work. I transitioned to caregiving in early 2016. I felt wonderful knowing that I was helping these good people to continue enjoying their lives the way they wanted. I humbly offer to you that I was quickly accepted and well liked at the facility. I Read more was responsible for the personal needs of 15+ people per shift. The fulfillment was there and I carried out my duties with a loving smile. After a few months I discovered an inspiration to focus my unique care to children. Knowing I could make powerful positive influences in the lives of children and deserving families. One of my sisters now has a baby of her own and being an uncle is amazing. I happily step in and babysit whenever I get the chance. Kids and I just seem to understand each other. I feel the most joy in life when playing a calm and uplifting role for others. I love looking for ways to surprise and delight people. I aim to help make life more enjoyable for your whole family as a team by providing reliability, flexibility and a kind heart. I am intuitive, punctual and keep fit. How else could I keep up with kids? I work well with clearly defined directions and goals. I am dependable, honest and try to remain humble. I am a gifted listener. I am a patient teacher and offer Art lessons, drawing and painting, guitar and singing and love reading aloud. I am CPR certified.
