Thanks for Originally from Wisconsin, I recently relocated to Bend for a new position at Patheon Pharmaceuticals, as a Chemist. Being new to town, I've found myself with spare time in the evenings and weekends and would love to dedicate some of that energy to hanging out with your kiddos! I grew up really dedicated to the Girl Scouts and have lots of experience working with young children, leading fun projects/crafts, while balancing demands of many children at one time. This past summer, I was fortunate enough to work as a kayak guide in the San Juan Islands! I took lots of families out on the water and really loved interacting with the kids, getting them excited about the outdoors, kayaking, and the biodiversity surrounding the islands! I also have years experience in healthcare. During my undergraduate study and beyond, I've worked as a nursing assistant for a nursing home Read more and in an hospital setting. This experience not only taught technical skills making me feel confident in caring for children and using a first aid kit, but gave back a feeling of nurturing you often miss from a desk job. My typical schedule is a 8-5 gig, Monday through Friday. I'd be glad to become your after school or occasional night out sitter.
