Hi, I'm Charlie! In one way or another, I've been involved in childcare for 10 years. My past titles include student teacher, head arts camp counselor, nanny, babysitter, tutor, and juggling coach. During the school year, I work at a child center in Portland and volunteer weekly as a third grade aide at an elementary school. I am background checked, CPR trained, and Oregon Registry teacher qualified. The list of relevant college courses I have taken is too long for me to flesh out here, but they include child development, elementary education, early reading, and early mathematics. I pride myself in having enormous passion for childhood learning. On a personal level I aim to foster creativity, self-expression, and collaborative skills with the kids I work alongside.
