I began babysitting when I was 13 for my mom's coworker because I loved being nurturing and helping out when I could. I got picked up from school, walked to the bus stop to pick up the child I was babysitting, and pushed him in the stroller back home, fed him, read to him, and played with him until his parents came home. I have since then worked for over 10 families for boys and girls ages 3- 8. Additionally, I worked at a toy store for over 3 years which taught me a lot about what children of all ages can play with. Starting babysitting at such an early age has allowed me to grow as a caregiver and I look forward to growing more as I continue this journey.
