Hello! My name is Arianna. I have recently returned from traveling and volunteering in SE Asia. Before I left for Thailand to assist my friend in Peace Corps, I was babysitting for 2 families in the Seattle area (ages 3-7). Prior to living in Seattle, I was attending Portland State University while being a full time nanny for two wonderful boys for 2.5 years. I graduated from PSU with a BA in Spanish & Applied Linguistics. I was part of a Spanish Immersion program in Eugene, and I was thankful to find a family who was also enrolled in a Spanish Immersion program in Portland. The boys are now in 4th & 6th grade. I had such a wonderful experience with those boys, they truly became my family in Portland. I arranged to have one of my very good friends to take my place as their nanny. I am currently Read more back in Portland, and in search of another family I can get to know and become close with. Apart from my nanny work and babysitting gigs in Seattle and Portland, I have also worked with infants and toddlers. My nephew is now 4 y/o, and I have been overjoyed with the time I have been able to spend with him, watching him learn and take in the beautiful world around us. My mother recently retired from being a kindergarten teacher for 35 years. I spent as much time as I could in her classroom. I absolutely love being around children, and I hope to find a family that I can connect and grow with. I am currently looking for part time babysitting gigs as I start to settle back into life in Portland.
