I am presently a preschool and toddler teacher for a learning center, and have recent experience with infants through school age children. I am currently interested and looking for a part time job starting in the Fall where I can develop a relationship with just one special family! I am caring, loving, responsible & fun! I believe in learning through play, and positive guidance vs negative discipline. Besides children, I love art, music, crafts, animals, cooking and the outdoors. I am the mother of two grown children and have over 20 years of experience with children of all ages. While my children were growing up, I owned and operated a home based childcare for 10 years providing care, meals, transportation and part time home schooling for children ages 3 months to 12 yrs. After I closed my daycare I was a preschool teacher for several years at a private Christian Read more school. I really do adore children of all ages! In 2013 I decided to go back to college to learn more about my passion, and last year I graduated with honors and my Associates Degree in Child Development and Early Childhood Education (specializing in children ages 0-8). I have all current certifications (Pediatric CPR/First Aid, Criminal Background, etc.), a clean driving record, and current resume and references.
