Hi my name is Maureen Graham and I just completed my junior year at Kansas State University studying dietetics. This summer I have the opportunity to live in the Portland area and am looking for a summer nannying position. I have lots of great experience with kids. throughout high school I was a regular babysitter for several families, and also worked at a day care. The past three summers in college I have worked at a kids camp as a counselor. I really enjoy working with children and hope to be able to continue doing so this summer. I believe that when watching children it is vitally important to not just entertain them, but to engage with them in whatever they are doing. Be it playing, reading, arts and crafts or a fun outing I find kids have the most fun when we are having fun with them, not just Read more watching from the sidelines. I also have a love for learning and reading, and like to incorporate that in to activities I do with the kids. Libraries, museums and nature walks are always fun and a great way I have found for kids to explore and learn on their own terms.
