Kris was great with our two boys, who can take a bit to warm up to a new person. Kris immediately started to engage with the boys and asked good questions of my expectations and of our routine. She kept me posted during the evening and they boys reported they had a great time with her. I will definitely call on Kris again!

Kristyna was great! Came in new and last minute, so my husband and I could see a play. The kids took to her in seconds. She was very intelliigent, asking all relevant questions. She kept us updated throughout the night. Kristyna fulfilled all her duties and the children loved her. Very satisfied!

Kristyna (Kris) was employed with us as a contract, full-time nanny from April 17th, 2017 until June 12th, 2017, when she quit with no notice. The contract term was supposed to be until Mid-August. We had a contract laying out our expectations and terms of employment that she signed. I paid for the expanded background check on her profile. -Started April 17th with a 30 day trial period. Did well, followed direction, very communicative and was attentive to our infant daughter. -May 15th (Day 28 of the 30 day trial period)- *unexpected absence* came in 1.15 hour late due to car issues and left after being there 1 hour as she was sick -May 17th (Day 30)- *unexpected absence* texted in that she was sick and was not able to come in -May 22nd- 26th, we went on a planned vacation and she got the week off. We paid her 1/2 her weekly rate, as we agreed upon, at the start of her employment with us. -May 29th-Memorial Day- she got the day off- was paid a full day's rate -June 1- *unexpected absence* car issues, arrived 1.5 hours late -June 5th- *planned absence* left early for a doctor's appointment -June 6th- *unexpected absence* medical appointment -June 7th- *unexpected absence* asked for the day off but promised to be back the following day. Texted three hours later that she was not going make it in the next day. I asked her to call me. -June 8th-*unexpected absence* Did not hear from Kris all day, I texted her late in the day and she said she would be in the next day. I told her not to come in as we had made other arrangements for back up care for the day. -June 9th- Kris and I spoke via phone and she assured me that she was committed to the role and would be focused on caring for our daughter. We agreed she would come in on Monday, June 12th. June 12th-******unexpected absence, quit with no notice***** Called 45 minutes before she was supposed to arrive and said that she was not feeling well and was quitting.

Kris helped us out for a while when we were needing childcare a few days a week while both my wife and I worked. She was punctual, fully engaged with the kids (1 and 3 years old), communicated fantastically, and I could not recommend her enough. We really appreciate how she took the children through so many different and mind-developing activities. She also took care of some extra cleaning tasks and light household duties which made our lives a lot easier. I am thankful we found such an amazing caregiver!

Kristyna responded to my ad for a job I had posted for a part time sitter, she was then initially hard to get back a hold of after her initial response. She tries to say her text messages don't go thru sometimes, when you text her. She showed up for the job initially, took good care of my children, I paid her, and she committed to three more days and some long term work. One day last week she was supposed to come, she never responded by text, and never showed up. I assumed it was because of the storm... then she got back to me later and told me she couldn't babysit the two days she had just committed to. I had to be at work those days and I had no one to watch my kids. She also tried to say it was because her car was damaged in the storm and that she was going back to school, but on her profile she says she is already attending school. I see today that she is active on sitter city looking for more sitting jobs. I think it is very irresponsible after sitting for a family once to cancel at the last minute, when they have no one else to come. If she didn't like us she shouldn't have committed to more work. I was very clear about my pay and my needs, and that I didn't just want a one time sitter. She is very irresponsible and will not contact you in an appropriate amount of time for you to find someone else.

Without any advance notice, Kristyna stopped taking care of our 9-month-old. Back from our Christmas vacation, on a snowy morning when we were expecting Kristyna, we texted her not to worry is she could not drive in the snow and to stay safe. She replied that she was no longer our babysitter. We never heard from her again. She was my one-year-old's nanny/babysitter for about two months spending about 20 hours a week with him. She was ok around kids, and seemed knowledgeable. Yet she needs more patience, and maturity, as well as to be more honest. She always had a story often contradicting herself. I would not recommend her for child care.

Kris is awesome--I'd recommend her to anyone here in the Portland area that's looking for a sitter. She's punctual, professional, funny, kind, and inquisitive. I was in a jam, and she responded to the job I posted and was on my doorstep in 30 minutes. It took my very shy 2.5 year old approximately 30 seconds to drop her guard and start chatting Kris' ear off! She spent the day with my 2 toddlers and everyone had a blast. We felt so lucky to have her back a couple of days later. Seriously, I can't recommend her enough. Such a gem!

We were thrilled to have Kris as our sitter for our 16 month old. Upon interviewing her, she was very in depth with her questions about our son and his personality. She arrived early and was very personable as well as involved. I definitely recommend her. She is a gem.

I can say, she is a terrific sitter - what a great personality! She is very reliable, and very creative! We couldn't have asked for a better caregiver. She took our daughter to a local art gallery, something so different yet fun for her, since our kiddo is 11. I highly recommend her. A wonderful personality, indeed. My daughter loved her - hoping to use her again in the future. :)

We were looking for a babysitter for our girl to help on random days and any night that my husband and I wanted to get out of the house. Kris has been the perfect fit for our family. Kris is extremely flexible and reliable with her availability and our needs. She is a wonderful young woman who is mature beyond her years. She is extremely patient and kind with our girl. When we first met her, she prompted a number of questions you'd expect from an experienced sitter. She asked about medications, feeding habits, and allergies before we had a chance to tell her; a sign of a true professional. Our girl has already attached herself to Kris, and we plan on continuing to use Kris for the foreseeable future.

Kris is awesome. She arrived promptly at the designated time. She played games with my kids and watched a movie with them. By the time I got home, she had them clean and in bed fast asleep. I will be calling her again.

The kids were both very comfortable with Kristyna and had a great time while mom and dad escaped for a few hours. Being new to the area we were nervous leaving our kids for the first time but things couldn't have gone any better. Kristyna responded to text messages checking in promptly and let us know how things were going. Before hand she was prompt in getting back to us and communicating any updates or changes that would affect our plans. It was apparent from the amount of time we left and the activities that both kids talked about that Kristyna was playing with them the whole time and not just putting the TV on for them or ignoring them. Great job! Have already scheduled the next sitting appointment :)

Kris is a true treat for my kids! She has been the only sitter that my 22 month old didn't cry with when my husband and I were walking out of the house. Both of my kids took to her instantly! My 4 year old absolutely adores her and couldn't stop talking about her the next day. She put them both to bed and was quick to respond to my check-in text. I look forward to her keeping my kids again!

We absolutely love Kristyna! She is dependable and great at keeping in communication with us. She is very supportive and attentive to our daughter. We would recommend her to anyone! If you are looking for someone to take care of your children, we would definitely recommend her. We have had several potential sitters meet with us and we are so happy we found her! She shows up on time, checks in, and keeps me informed on her days with my daughter. She is a rare gem of a baby sitter!

Kristyna helped us out today with our 2-year-old and 6-month old, and she is wonderful. She is professional, clearly experienced, and had a great rapport with my 2-year-old. I would hire her in a heartbeat. :

Here's a synopsis of how I found Kris: Professional Patient Compassionate Well versed Experienced Positive in every respect In a nutshell, I would trust her with my infant girl many times over and wouldn't bat an eyelid at asking her to help us again. It's an absolute no brainer for me. There isn't enough space here to write about how much she helped my family out for the week that we had our hands tied. Thank you again Kris for making what was a crazy week into something that had a semblance of survivability.

We hired Kristyna on our recent trip to Orlando. She arrived at our hotel a few minutes early just like she said. She was great with our kids (ages 7& 5) and knew exactly how to handle them due to her extensive experience and schooling. She responded quickly to our texts throughout the night which was very reassuring. We got back ro the room to kids sleeping peacefully. Next morning kids said they had a good time with her and seemed happy. Would definitely recommend Kristyna to anyone looking for a quality sitter!
