Becoming a caregiver has been a very natural progression for me. I have always enjoyed spending time with the little humans of the community, listening and learning from their youthful, fresh perspectives, and sharing with them what I know and love. With each family I have had the privilege of getting to know, I have dedicated at the very least a year (most 3-4 years) to ensure that each child had the opportunity for a routine and the least amount of disruption as possible. I believe that it is important for the relationship with the children and the family to be based on trust, mutual respect, and open communication, and this only comes with commitment and time. I enjoy getting to know each child's personal interests, then helping them develop, with books from the library, art projects, science experiments, field trips, music and movies. It's always my goal to celebrate Read more and encourage their individuality. I have over ten years of nannying experience with ages 6 months through 9 years and older. The majority of my experience has been with ages 2-5. I have also completed Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula training, where I was trained to help families during the transition of welcoming a new member of their family.
