I am a young woman who currently does not have any nanny experience. I have a lot of experience with babysitting and taking care of my younger brother who is autistic. I graduated high school at 16 and attended Portland State University for two years studying Psychology, particularly focusing on childhood development and attachment theories. I currently work at Fred Meyer as a front end manager and am looking for a job, even if just part time, that can be something that makes me happy and simultaneously works toward my long term goal of being a private practice children's counselor. I currently have open availability at Fred Meyer for optimal hours and am definitely hoping to change that for a nanny position. Ideally, I would close off my availability to whatever is most convenient for the family and then work at Fred Meyer on which ever days I am not Read more needed. I am very aware of how nerve wracking it must be to put your children in another person's hands, especially for long hours of the day, so I have absolutely no problem meeting with you, the children, and interviewing however many times it takes you feel comfortable. I am truly not interested in the money aspect of things, I am solely looking for a job that I find fulfilling and can say that I am proud of, and as long as that can pay my bills, I will be a happy camper.
