Hello my name is Maddie and I am a 19-year-old college student studying BioHealth at Oregon State University. I am home for the summer. For the past five summers I have been a lifeguard and a swim instructor through Portland Parks & Recreation. As a swim instructor I have gained experience for caring for multiple kids at one time and working with special needs children. I love working with kids and making learning activities fun and interesting. For life-guarding I have up to date First Aid and CPR certification through StarGuard and Red Cross. For three years I volunteered at the Buckman SUN school which was an after school care program that also provided learning enrichment activities. I have been a math tutor and a babysitter as well.
