From the moment I arrive in the morning to that hug goodbye when Mom and Dad get home from work--I am filled with joy to be a nanny. Pick ups from school, soccer practice and homework are all important tasks but the moments in the midst of the day's agenda are the sweet memories we hold onto. I'll never forget the moment my 5 year old, Colbie Addison, got presented with her "helper" award at pre-school graduation or when her 8 year old sister Bruklyn Reese would run as fast as she could towards me when she saw I was the one picking her up from school. It's a wonderful feeling knowing you are not only their care giver, but their best friend and their role model. The oldest 9 year old, Kennedy likes to now tie her sweatshirt around her waist and I must say she has great style. I have been a nanny now for one year and am eager to meet the next family God places me with on my venture to the city of Portland.
