Hello World! My name is Hilda. I currently reside in SE Portland Area. I have my own car and have certifications for both CPR/First Aid. I have many passions and getting to create with children is always on the top of that list. For me, this Isn't a job. Although in this society we need to make a living this is for me something that I will do whether I am "working" or not. I love getting to imagine everyday and live in a world of what if's and anything being possible. I love getting to paint, and create beautiful things. I love getting to hear a child's dreams and together try and make them reality. Playing, singing, dancing, painting, riding bikes, going to the beach, going to many different museums and being outside to see more of the world and letting nature be the roots from which they grow Read more are things that light up my being! I also think that for children this is essential as it molds them into who they will become as adults. Our world is filled with so many different levels of technology and things that distract from living and being a child. As a caregiver I am very hands on, and want to be a part of a family. My most recent experience working with children was the role of a Full-time nanny in West Hollywood for a wonderful 4 year old girl named Hazel whom I worked with for 1 year and 3 months. She is family to me and someone who I will always keep in contact with. Our daily schedule was picking her up from preschool at 11 and usually going home and playing with her toys for a couple hours, then moving into a crafting activity, riding her bike or playing soccer and finding our way down the list of different activities she was interested in for the day. She loved playing dress up and finding fun little toys we would hide in her play-doh. We ran errands together and would prepare lunch and dinner together. We would also work on several learning activities together including ABC mouse which we found to be extremely beneficial for her. Shalave and Joyce (The parents) would usually get home around 7pm and I would fill them in on how our day went and talk about what to improve on, or continue with how their day went. The parents and I still maintain a very beautiful friendship and one that I value I am looking to be a part of a family and help them to raise beautiful, creative children.
