I first began babysitting at the age of 12 and was paid in fudge. While over the years my payment has changed to hard currency I still enjoy this line of work as much as I did back then. I have worked for many different families in the past but in terms of duration and closeness two families (both of my references) stand out. One family, who lived across the street from me growing up, entrusted me with their fraternal twins when they were just one year old. Now they are almost 14 and babysitting themselves. The other family I began working for in high school and continued through college during the summers when I was home. I began with their 6 month old son and continued until he was 4 and also saw the arrival of his baby brother. My family has always had pets, both cats and dogs, Read more so therefore I am an ardent pet lover. My favorite activities include hiking, reading, and socializing with friends while my babysitting specialties include making paper airplanes, scavenger hunts, and reading stories aloud.
