Hi. My name is Teresa Cahill. I am a very active mother of 3 boys, two of which have grown up and left the nest, and 11 year old that keeps me young. I also have two granddaughters. I am the second child in a family of 8, and therefore, started babysitting at a very young age. I knew by the time I was out of my teen years that I would pursue a career involving children. I completed my Elementary Education degree and worked for many years as a substitute teacher, and then later switched my focus to caregiving. I find the task of childcare provider/nanny so rewarding because I see it an extension of the parenting job, and I consider it a highly valued responsibility. I find children and their ideas so fascinating. I love to see how they view the world, and how they process information and Read more ideas. Children are the ones who remind me to “stop and smell the roses”. When I am not working with children, you will find me in the gym, exploring the great outdoors, or in the kitchen, baking up something amazing.
