A little about myself: I'm twenty four years old and a North Carolina native. I graduated from UNC Asheville with degrees in Environmental Studies and Economics back in 2014 but I'm still trying to figure out what exactly it is I'd like to do with my degrees :) My most recent work experience has been in the service industry and in child care. I recently moved to the area (a little over a month ago) with my partner Brandon and our two wonderful dogs, Samson and Baloo. We've been living nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains for the past six years and decided we were ready for an adventure across the country. We were especially drawn to the high desert because we are both avid hikers and lovers of basically anything related to the great outdoors... central Oregon has everything we could ever dream of in that regard! We Read more had a blast during our cross country travels and are now excited to be settling down in our cute little house in Crooked River. In my free time, I enjoy cooking delicious and nutritious meals, gardening, hiking, yoga, rock climbing, reading, camping, listening to great music, and relaxing with my fur babies! In my ten plus years of child care experience, I have worked with children aged anywhere between newborn and early teen. I would describe my personality to be fun, creative and playfuI and I think that my nannying style is definitely reflective of that. I really do love working with children and prefer to utilize a "hands-on" approach when it comes to child care (doing fun things together such as crafting, playing outside, reading, baking, going on nature walks, etc.). I also have plenty of experience preparing meals and doing various housekeeping activities related to child care (cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, or washing the children's clothes).
