I am a recent graduate from the University of Oregon and moving back home to Portland. I have worked with kids for about 5 years now. I worked with this non-profit organization called Camp Kesem on campus. This student-run organization raises money for kids who have been affected by their parent’s cancer. This is all volunteered based with certified child development training. I have been a counselor for them for 5 years. I get the opportunity to work with kid’s ages 7-16 years old. I especially work with kid’s ages 7-11 years old. Weekends and after school hours are ideal for my work schedule.
